This Privacy Policy describes how Argos Solutions, Inc. ("we," "us," or "Argos") collects, uses, and discloses information about individuals when they visit our website (www.joinargos.com), interact with our communications, or otherwise engage with us outside of the software-as-a-service platform ("Public Services").
This Privacy Policy primarily describes our Public Services. Argos also processes Customer Data on behalf of enterprise customers under applicable customer agreements and Data Processing Addenda. Section 5 describes our general practices for Customer Data received through third-party integrations.
Where required by law, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can manage or withdraw your choices through the cookie-preferences control on our website.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we may notify you via email or display a notice on our website. Continued use of our Public Services after changes are posted indicates acceptance.
We collect information you provide to us directly, including:
When you use our website or receive emails from us, we automatically collect:
We may receive information from:
We use collected information to:
We may also aggregate or de-identify data for product development, usage analytics, or industry reporting in a way that does not identify you.
We do not sell or rent personal information for monetary compensation. We share information with service providers and advertising partners as described below and subject to applicable privacy choices.
We share information with vendors that help us operate our Public Services, such as website hosts, CRM systems, analytics providers, and cloud email platforms. Subject to applicable consent and privacy choices, we also disclose online identifiers and website activity to LinkedIn for conversion measurement, campaign optimization, aggregate audience insights, and advertising or retargeting. These parties process information under applicable agreements and privacy terms.
We may disclose information if:
If Argos is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other corporate restructuring, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before such changes impact your privacy rights.
When an enterprise customer authorizes Argos to connect to Slack or another third-party service, Argos receives and processes Customer Data from that service on the customer's behalf and according to the customer's instructions, as described in the applicable customer agreement and Data Processing Addendum ("DPA").
Data we receive. Depending on the integration and the permissions granted, we may receive workspace and channel information, user identifiers and profile information, messages and threads, files, OAuth credentials and authorization scopes, event notifications, and technical logs.
How we use it. We use this data only to provide the integration the customer has requested — for example, to connect the service, synchronize content the customer has authorized Argos to access, provide search and knowledge features, link activity to matters, generate AI-assisted outputs, maintain security, and troubleshoot the service. We do not sell this data or use it to train AI models. Contracted hosting and AI providers process integration data only as needed to provide Argos and are subject to contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Retention. We retain integration data while the customer’s account or integration remains active, or until the customer instructs us to delete it, subject to any limited retention required by the applicable agreement, backup procedures, or law. Disconnecting Slack revokes Argos’s access to the workspace and stops future synchronization, but does not automatically delete Slack data already stored in Argos. Customers may separately delete the Slack connection or request deletion of stored integration data.
Access, transfer, and deletion. Because we process this data on the customer's behalf, individuals should direct requests to access, transfer, or delete their data to their organization's Argos or workspace administrator. You may also contact us at privacy@joinargos.com, and we will assist the customer as required by the applicable agreement or DPA.
Additional information. Additional details about Argos's processing, retention, deletion, and subprocessors may be provided in the applicable customer agreement or DPA.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. We encourage users to take personal steps to protect their credentials and devices.
We retain personal information as long as necessary to:
When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize data in accordance with our retention and disposal policies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@joinargos.com. We may require verification of your identity before fulfilling requests. For data managed on behalf of an enterprise customer, please contact that customer directly.
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
Our website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag, subject to your consent or privacy choices where required. The tag may collect the page URL, referring URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamps, and actions such as page visits and form submissions. We use this information to measure advertising conversions, evaluate and optimize campaign performance, understand website audiences in aggregate, and support advertising and retargeting activities. LinkedIn provides Argos with aggregated reports rather than information that directly identifies individual visitors.
We use Consent Pro to manage cookie preferences and record consent choices. You can accept or reject non-essential technologies through our consent banner and change your choices at any time using the cookie-preferences control on our website. We also honor applicable browser-based privacy signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by law.
Argos is based in the United States and may transfer your personal information to the U.S. or other jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent measures to protect your information during cross-border transfers.
Argos does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Our Services are intended for business and professional use only. If we discover that a child has submitted information, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we have received information from a child, please contact privacy@joinargos.com.
Our Public Services may include links to third-party websites. These sites operate independently and are not governed by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
